April Guild Contest Suggestions

this topic will be open until 1st of April, the winning topic idea(s) will get a prize and can still enter in April contests.

So just write here your ideas you have for contests that i can use for April, i would really like a contest that does not give some people more of a chance then others, so a contest that timezone does not matter it does not matter if it is a contest that takes a day or a month to complete as long as it is done before April is over.
The contest has to be only in Requiem/FB/guild forum no outside sources other then file uploading sites if contest requires a Screenshot or Video.

Prizes:
each idea that i use gets a prize the prizes range from
- 1,000,000 lant
- 5,000,000 lant
-10,000,000 lant
- 20% max hp (30 days)
-100% exp scroll (1 day)
-100 Item mall points
-300 Item mall points
-500 Item mall points
-500 WarpPortal points
-1000 WarpPortal points

the prize that you get depends on how much your idea is used in the contest if only a little bit you only get a small prize but if i use your idea as the whole contest you get a bigger prize.
I may also use your ideas for contests in later months in which case you will get a prize for that month (i only give a prize the first time i use the contest idea).

So maybay this.
You giving a part of some picture,screen shot and ppl mut guess what is that.Let give them some time like 1 day
and at the end of contest you reveal full picture and wining person is the person who write correct answer first.

have everyone make a new toon, and the person who gets it to the highest level in a week or 2 wins.

or one of those quote things. take a funny picture of 2 or more people/animals with a wierd face or something, and add empty word bubbles on top of there heads for us to fill in. funniest wins

example: you make the bubbles blank and we fill them in like this

bad idea, coz not ppl can play 24x7 so they wont be able to participate in this thing

nahh takeing screen shot isnt a big deal we got every member who loggs atlst 1hr in a day n 1 day is more then enough to take SS :p

how about this. show your checkmate pride in real life! do something like make a checkmate t-shirt (and wear it around!), make a bunch of checkmate signs and hang them up around your town, or over a stop sign or something, or spraypaint checkmate on a building. then take a picture and post it here. whoever has the most creative/best/funny way of doing it wins

would be good a parodies contest, create a certain number of teams, record a video with voices, pictures, etc
with prizes from first to third place, the best and worst video will be posted in the Forum WP

all good ideas keep them up

i think it would be fun to see how far people will go in the checkmate pride contest. i can already see someone flying a plane around with a checkmate banner trailing behind lol.

and heres another idea. since its around the time of april fools day, lets have a contest where u pull a prank on someone, video tape it, and post it here. the best prank wins

Guild logo competition - best logo wins*

pvp competition - could be battlefield ranks or on pk ranks, prob battlefield be better

poem competition*

*kira decides best 3-5 maybe and then everyone votes for best.

How about something like Hide and seek?
Like u make a alliance party and inv every1 who wanna join and make groups of 3 to 5 ppl.
1st round is like we have to farm 25 Black Spider Legs and 1st who trade kira win this round.
2nd round is like kira moves to a spot (like Cambaro in SHW) and we have to get to him and 1st who trade him win.
3rd round is like kira hide somewhere in Turba and we have to find him. 1st who trade him wins.

.. just my ideas of rounds.. can change or add / remove the "rounds"..

yea i was thinking hide and seek or scavenger hunt would be fun or a sceenshot where most of the pic is covered and i reveal a bit more every so often first to guess wins or i say somthing about where i am and u have to tell me where i am hiding

yea thats what i meaned my u hide somewhere in turba and only saying " brrrr its cold" when there is ice or something

i have 4 suggestion for contests:

1: outfit contest 1
ppl make screenshots of any set they have for one char. Then u get points for the sort of the set (like 79 set gives more points than 35 foc set). can make as only complete sets counts or like only complete at view (like no helms because i, for example, always got them turned off e.e)) and the the person with the most points wins.

2: outfit contest 2
ppl make screenshot of their char wearing a mix out of several sets for their char. Then we vote which one looks best and that person wins. Only a mix out of at least 2 sets which u can see (changeing helm and turn showing off doesnt count e.e) counts.

3: climbing contest
ppl try to climb on top of building in towns or on any known building in game and make screenshots of their chars on top of it. But only screenshot which were made after start of that contest counts. The one with the most screenshots wins

4: crap item contest
we name one item from raids which is normally crap and gets reduced or npced (like bludgeon of control or SRDD -150, needs to be a specific item) and the person who got the highest amount of those items after one week wins the contest.

The hide and seek one sounds great but i think would be unfair because its gonna be run by a timezone and also you cant be on alot to suit all people, guild seems most active at svs time so idk. Also the one about who can climb the highest wouldnt be fair for all since sins would have biggest advantage then druids

i can do a hide and seek but only with clues where i am and ppl have to tell me where i am and i can set forums to give a clue every say 6-8 hrs same as if i do a SS and cover most of pic and reveal alittle more every time period (6-8hrs or so)
same idea as scavenger hunt first mail i get of the item would win (or get a point depending on how good the prize is) and i would just say a new item every for example 6-8 hrs lol so it would be fair to everyone and also make ppl log forums a few times per day

or every item some1 guesses right is say for example 1 point and with the points they can get items:

so hp 20% (30 days) would be say 5-8 points
etc.

but for climbing u can use sin alt aswell, it just needs to be like lvl 35 for max dash and most ppl got a sin alt anyway i think
